Hi Govind

Well, the process is simple.
Select the folder, press applications button, press n to go to send to
and then press enter on compressed(zip) folder.
But even I tried to zip a folder of 2 gb and the system got struck.
Otherwise it takes a lot of time to zip a folder of that size.
Better to divide the folder into 4 or 5 folders and then zip.
Or try to use win rar for a possible better result.
Or else wait for a better suggestion than that of mine.
