Sorry for bringing up the topic once again, but there seems to be no efficient 
way of reading pdf image files apart from finereader 8 or later which have to 
be purchased.
Does microsoft document imaging read them?
I was not successful to do so.
If there is any other way, please apprise me of the same, or else I will have 
to take printouts of the said documents and scann them all over again.
However, you will agree this is not an efficient way of dealing with such 
nuissance like pdf image files, as if pdf itself were a lesser hurdle, now 
everything is coming in pdf image!!!

Any efficient way, please.
