High Friends,
I am using online banking facility of SBI from 3 months. It is accessable with JAWS. We can do transactions independently. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Janardhana Naidu" <janardhananaid...@gmail.com>

Hello learned Colleagues,
We can check our account balance using ATM card number through our mobiles I think Internet banking is not required for the viewing purpose. Will you please throw light on Internet banking? Is it accessible with JAWS? Is it secure? Is any body availing State Bank of India online banking service? Will you please throw light on application and operational procedure of SBI online banking service?
Thanks in anticipation
G. Janardhana Naidu.

I have also the same experience with bank of india.
When I aproach the branch for the internet banking with the RBI cercular, first time god knows where they throw my application. When I feel up and submited the form for second time, the manager said that we will have to ask to our head office that whether this facility should be given to VI account holder or not. When I vissited the branch for more than 3 4 time, at last the manager told me that we have forwarded the application and finally I got my user ID and password without any problem. Further they were arguing that they will provide me only view facility and not the fund transfer. In this way, they took 3 months for 15 days matter. But the most important point I did not understand, if RBI cercular is clearly stating that such facilities should be given to VI customers without any discrimination, is there any need to ask there head office? Or it is a policy of troubling us.
Thanks and regards,
Rohiet

Same in my case. The time taken can be explained since the ccard and the
pin have to be shipped from Mumbai.

I have got my ATM with the pin at my home through post in 15 days
maximum.
So it should not take so long.

right now we can not give you the reason but you can resubmit your
