Hello
PWD does not specifically say so, though it would be better if it did.
However, it talks of schemes by governments, under section 38, providing for,
inter alia, non-handicapping work environment, which I do opine includes
providing assistive technology etc.

However, the matter is not so simple, and various convincings and court
battles have to be gone through, if a particular employer decides not to
cooperate even after appointment.

Subject: [AI] provisions in pwd act regarding employment

Hello Friends,
Today I came to know that, there are provisions in the pwd act stating that
the employers should provide their disabled employees with assistive
technology.
Is it true?, if so can you give me the section relating to this provision?.
With Regards.
