Acer has revised the price of its entry-level desktop, the EL-1600, which will now be available for Rs. 9,999 across the country with immediate effect. This price does not include the monitor. Based on a single-core processor - Intel Atom processor 230, the Nettop when compared to the conventional desktop computers is smaller, lighter and affordable, all this while consuming just one-third the power of a conventional desktop.
