If you save anything other than an audio file, you will have to access it only using a PC. The Olympus model I have --the model number is something I need to figure out-- has five folders starting from DSS_FLD A. Only two folders DSS_FLD A and Music can be used to play audio. While DSS_FLDA would play audio files one by one --that is you need to press the play button once a file is finished-- Music folder plays them continuously. This is specially good when you are listening to an audio book that has been divided into several sections. This definitely has auto play --starting to play exactly from the point where you had stopped. However, sometimes, it doesn't work in Music folder.

I remember buying a pendrive with built-in mp3 player and then struggling with a single round button that was very temperamental and had some 5 functions . And, is it also possible to auto-resume mp3 files in these devices ? This is very important if one wishes to read audio books and wishes to start at the last read portion.
