A civil engineer with RP cleared the UPSC (Indian engineering
services) exam and then underwent an eye check up for fitness. Please
hear the remaining story in his words and guide him suitably.
Hi i m Syed( a civil engineer) frm varanasi.i m 27 yrs old RP male.I
have qualifified IES(indian engineering services)(UPSC).Yesterday i
have appeared in medical test by UPSC(in Gorakhpur Railwat
hospital).my glass power is -5.5 and -6,with vision 6/6 in left eye
and 6/12 in left eye.after normal eye checkup(1-board reading and
colour vision check only)for 3 candidates (including me) out of 12
candidates they have told us for fundus examination.In the end they
didn't told us wheather we are fit or not(for all 12 candidates).i
dont know what they saw in fundus checkup.I want to know any one of u
know what is fundus checkup?and wheather they can understand my RP
desease by that check or not?What is the gazzete of india for medical
test says???Am i fit or not fit for ies due to RP.Is their any rule???
