Regarding external disk drives, I use a Seagate 1500 gb and have had no
problem with it. Seagate drives are also very quiet. The backup program
that comes with the drive is not accessible but you can use another program
to accomplish the same thing or back up data manually and get sighted help
to put the seagate program on automatic backup.
