As Pranav has already mentioned below that Windows Live is an upgraded
version of OE, the basic features of both of the E-mail clients are more or
less same.
If you have downloaded Windows Live mail client, the hotmail account would
have configured in it automatically. When you press enter on Windows Live
E-mail client to open it, the following message will appear:
"windows Live is not currently your default mail client. Would you like to
make it your default mail client?
Yes No."
You need to press enter on yes.
If you still see your Hotmail account not being configured in Windows live
mail client, you may configure it the way you have configured in Outlook
Express.

Jean,
Windows live is an upgraded version of Outlook express I think. Also, I
suspect you will need to upgrade your hotmail account but I cannot be
sure.

All,
My hotmail stopped working and I got a message that said that if I use
outlook express to download windows live. So I did that but there is
nothing telling me how to restore my hotmail to outlook express. Any
suggestions?
Jean
