To add to what has already been posted, a candidate with a disability has to register for the test offline. The forms can be printed out from the site, or received through post on emailing ETS support staff. The accommodation requested by a test taker has to be justified in a document by the relevant expert, e.g. an ophthalmologist. Finally, unnecessary accommodation like taking a large amount of extra time is noted and the score can be downgraded by the college(s). This use to be practiced a few years ago and perhaps the procedure may have changed since then. In any event, your caller should carefully read the “Test Takers with Disabilities” section.
