Certainly good suggestion, but doesn't solve my purpose.
It will update the files when I reconnect the USB drive while I want that whenever I save my file again, it should update that automatically. My pen drive will remain connected I will not disconnect and connect it again and again during the exam. ----- Original Message ----- From: "techy fox" <[email protected]>

Dear Experts,
Sorry for not giving this post a proper subject. Straightaway coming to the
point:
I need to create an autoscript, which will coppy my modified file into pen
drive as soon as it gets modified.
Let me make it clear. I am giving exams on computer.
So, I will save one copy of the answer sheet on hard drive, and the other on pen drive after every few minutes. This is to insure that I do not loos my
data in any case.
For this purpose, I am thinking of using xcopy command and autorun file.
The only thing which I am not able to solve is that can we define the
minutes or something which will let the script understand that it has to
copy the files instantly to pen drive as soon as it gets save again?
Yes, I will be saving it after every answer.
I know /m with xcopy will copy modified file, but I don't know how to set
time limit or something of that nature. Because simply creating autorun file
with the script will copy only when pen drive is inserted.
Needless to say, detailed and quick response will be expected.
Regards
Amar Jain.
