Hai friends,
This is Nithya Ranjani.S from Tamil nadu. I am a low vision person. I
have done my graduation in B.Sc Mathematics and Computer science. I
did my B.Ed in Maths and English. Also I have done an Advance computer
course in Mitra Jyothi, Bangalore.
When I think about my career, I have two different streams, Teaching
as well as IT field. But there are a lot of obstracles in both the
streams. Let me explain in detail.
In teaching field,
As I did B.Ed in Maths, many of them are telling I cant get a job
untill I complete my graduation in Arts subject like English, Tamil,
History. Even I Have'nt register in V.I priority in Employment office.
What shall I do to get a job? How shall I approach? Even in the
TRB(Teachers recruitment Board) exam there is no V.I category for
maths. I am ready to compete withthe sighted people, But I am afraid
about the problems after getting job. How can I avoid those problems?
I have one year teaching experience in a Matriculation school also.
But they are not ready to accecpt me permanant. What shall I do for
that?

In IT field,
As I am a computer science graduate, I am very good at logical
thinking and I am good in programming concepts like C, C++, Unix(Shell
scripting), Oracle(SQL queries). Till now, I am searching jobs. but I
am unable to get a job. One main thing is that my course in Bangalore
is going to over, I have to go home on 31st December. I doesn't have a
system. How can I prepare? How shall I found the oppurtunities in the
IT field? I am very good at debugging the errors. I am very much
interested in "Testing". What shall I do become a tester?

Now my problem is to choose a specific stream and to prepare myself
for that. My query is "Which stream is most suitable for me? and how
can I get a job?"
