Hello!

It is a case of discrimination. The concerned employee should pursue the matter with employees association and the association should take up with the management. There is no such rule in existence that the blind employees are not eligible for such allowance. There are many blind employees in PNB who are getting such allowance and performing non-banking work.

Regards.

Subject: [AI] Help required from bankers in AI

Hello all,
An ex-trainee of ours who is now working as a clerk in Dena Bank needs help. She has been denied computer allowance which is adversely affecting her salary. She has demonstrated to the bank officers that she can work on computers but they say they don't have any circular or rule that allows her to avail computer allowance. If anyone in AI has any such circular of Dena Bank or RBI then please forward it to me.

Thanks,

Prashant
