A hidden disability is not one that is hidden from oneself. It is a disability that may or may not be visible to someone else. Disabilities fitting this description can include people with mental disabilities, learning disabilities, some physical disabilities, sometimes a hearing impairment depending on the situation, and those with partial vision who, for whatever reason, don't use a cane. It can also include people with epilepsy, head injuries, etc.
