open ms word. go to tools>auto text. press control tab until you reach auto
format tab. uncheck the check boxes automatic list and automatic bullet.
press ok.
again go to tools>auto text. press control tab until you reach auto format
as you type. press tab to reach list view. uncheck automatic list and also
uncheck automatci bullet. press ok to confirm your changes.
you all done.

I use ms word 2003.
whenever I am going to type any number like 1 2 3 or some marks like = /
*, and press enter key for going into next line, bullets or next number is
displayed automatically.
even i do not go in format menu for displaying above work before such
writing.
so is there change in any setting of ms word?
suggest me.
