Hello Kanchan,

Are you sure only individuals can apply under RTI? We filed several applications on behalf of our organisation and we were not refused at least on this ground.

Moreover, since the letter is being signed by some official of AICB and it may be treated as an application by an individual in his / her official capacity. What do you suggest? We honour your opinion.

While drafting RTI Applications please note that RTI applications can be made by individuals and not organisations. However the address for that applicant individual can be that of the organisation.
If the application is not properly made, the information can be denied.

disabilities and what are their names?

3.      Which organizations the aforesaid persons with disabilities
represent?  Please list the name (s) of such organizations according to
nominated person (s) with disabilities.

4. How many disabled persons' organizations (DPOs) are represented on
the said Committee and what are the names of such organizations and their
representatives?

5. What criteria have been adopted by the Ministry in deciding whether the organization represented on the Committee is really a disabled persons'
organization (DPO)?

6.      Are there any specific reasons for not including
Directors/representatives of Ministry's National Institutes dealing with
Disabilities as members of the said Committee and, if so, what are those
reasons?
