Not heard of any such rule Rajesh. there was a ban sometime in 2006 but by
Nov or Dec 2006 the same was lifted.
in fact the court suggested that it will once again ban recruitment if the
disabled recruitment is not completed.
I may have to ask for ban on recruitment on Friday because they are
recruiting without following law.

Subject: [AI] Ban on recruitment? Maharashtra GR
Friends
I have heard that Maharashtra government has issued a general ban on
recruitments for a year, however excluding disabled etc. from it.
Now, could anybody or Any NGO confirm or refute this news?
Even so, some VI having been selected, are being held up and their
recruitments are being delayed citing this recent GR, without any regard
to supposed exception in favor of PWD.
