JSRPD has conducted the program since 1999. The program targets young people with disabilities in the Asia and Pacific regions. The main purpose of this project is to provide the selected participants with ten-month training program by which they can learn about the current situation of social welfare, welfare measures, policies and services for persons with disabilities in Japan, and consequently to develop a definite goal for independent living and clear perspectives on die future. Currently seven trainees of the 12th training that starts from August 31th are preparing to come to Japan by studying Japanese language and considering their individual training plans. A copy of application guidance and form is enclosed herewith. Application form is also available for download from the website below.
