UJJWALA 2010- ANNUAL FESTIVAL
AT NAB INDIA CENTRE FOR BLIND WOMEN
We at Nab India Centre, Hauz Khas, New Delhi welcome all visually impaired boys
and girls/ men and women (16+ of age) to come and enjoy the fun events of
UJJWALA 2010, the 1 day festival at NAB Centre for Blind Women, L-25, Hauz Khas
enclave, New Delhi.

DETAILS OF EVENTS
Please Note:
- Singing- It will be an advantage if you sing entertaining Sufi/ Pop/ folk -
filmi/ non filmi. You could bring your tracks along. Playing your own
instrument shall be considered an added advantage. All candidates will have to
go through Auditions for final selections.
- Dance - Please bring your music track along otherwise performance may not be
possible.
- Radio Laughter- Any funny creative item in form of an RJ presentation can be
presented. Time limit- 3 to 4 minutes. Only Solo Performances allowed.
Auditions will be held before final round

Participants, Please note:
a. Dress code-
You can wear any type of clothes - Indian/ western/ formal/ casual/ party/
bling. But main criteria of judgement shall be the Style with which you carry
yourself, grooming, confidence, personality and talent. (Unpresentable
participants can be disqualified before the contest). You shall be required to
walk to the stage with an escort. The escorts shall be given at the Centre.
Please bring your own costumes and accessories. However, makeup can be applied
shortly before the contest. Help for make up application shall be provided by
the centre. Request for the same must be informed beforehand.
b. Reporting Time:
You must arrive by the reporting time (12.30 p.m.) for entry practice with
music and make up. Participants arriving after 1:30 p.m. shall not be given any
rehearsals or make up support.
For ideas and suggestions regarding your clothes or appearance, a discussion
meeting at the centre will be held between 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on 21st and
22nd October. You are most welcome to attend the same for more clarity and to
feel more confident.
- Entertaining Games- Open for all.
Ý Non competing SINGING OR OTHER INTERESTING GOOD PERFORMANCES are welcome any
time during the festival and may be awarded with special prizes.
Ý DECISION OF THE JUDGES SHALL BE FINAL
Ý Refreshments shall be provided by the NAB Centre for participants of the
events on the Festival Day.
