I guess, the version you are running is not 5.01.1. it is 5.003 instead. I am saying this because I faced the similar issues in this version. However, I didn't encountered any issue with the latest version (Talks 5.01.1).
Please confirm the version again. To know the version that you are running, press Talks key (menu key in C5) once followed by * (bottom left key). Once the talks and zooms is launched, press key one to take options and move to "about" and note down the version from there.
