Srini,

I think 3 out of 1000 posts are reserved for visually impaired candidates in Corporation Bank, however, these posts are not sufficient as per the percentage to be given to VI's. all these clerical posts are same and I too cannot understand that on what basis 10 out of 1000 posts are not given to us. Punjab National bank has also announced 6480 vacancies in clerical cadre but VI's are again given with less number of posts. It should be around 64 seats but they have announced only 51 vacancies for the persons with vision impairment.

Warm regards,

Subject: [AI] Why no VI for jobs in Corporation Bank

Hi all,

For someone, I was looking at the recruitment notice of Corporation Bank for
Single Window Operator
(http://corpbank.com/uploadedfiles/custom/1_48_450_4887812.pdf) I could see
reservations given for OH and HH but cannot see the same for VI.

Anyone has idea, what is the best way to approach this banking sector to see if they have made a research on what jobs can be done by VI and if they have
done so, I don't see any reason, why several banks do not allocate work to
VI employees as a few members mentioned in the past.

Thanks,

Best regards,
