Checked the Dashboard feature recently. It does not announce the remaining
distance. But it indeed tells us the distance covered, that of the
particular drive as well as the total.

I think actual distance can be found on the Dashboard. press the key 9
while driving. Since Talks keeps on announcing the rapidly refreshing
distance status, mute Talks and access the information through Talks up

map distance rather than actual distance by road...
I wish to know, when on the road, how much I have covered and how much is
remaining.
what could be made to make this accessible?
I have found that by pressing it says names of intervening streets and
distance, and then final distance of destination, is it reliable?

when you surch offline, talks is counting and anounsing total distance.
by pressing 2, in walk mode, it will anounse name and number of the
street, that you are on.
by pressing 4, in drive mode it should say remaining distance.
don't know,, why pressing 4, in walk mode, it is not saying remaining
distance.
