Madam: Please select the file in which settings are to be saved. When
you click on save settings, and in the dialogue press shift tab I
guess to get to the list of files. If you are doing it for the first
time, it will be default file. If you wish to override that file,
select that file and then click on save. Otherwise, in the file name
box, just give any other name say for example, Law, for saving the
settings of legal documents scanning.
Come back if you have more questions, I'm using Pearl with Open Book 9.
