* * *Radha Swami Institute for the visually handicapped is a charitable organization professional managed by a team of committed social workers having experience of more than 10 years and technical expertise in the field of education, accessibility, training, research, employment, networking, advocacy and consultancy services pertaining to the educational, social, psychological and economic rehabilitation of the visually impaired. It aims at achieving perfection to the satisfaction of both the beneficiary and the benefactor, that is, we ensure the maximum service to the visually challenged.* * * *The society is already into providing assistance in the following fields:* * * *1. **Running typing & shorthand courses for visually impaired.* *2. **Farming and implementation of policies for the welfare of the visually impaired.* *3. **We have been organizing training programmes, workshops, seminars and awareness camps with a view to sharing of experiences in technologies, accomplishments and skill of visually impaired and evolving a better world, vision and attitude in the society.* *Having thus engaged in the preparation of fertile ground for the orchard to grow, the RIVH now solicits your valuable assistance, social responsibility and infinite sacrifice, that the dreams of every single visually impaired may come true to becoming capable of holding the torch to the entire humanity.* * * *In spite of UP being located in north **India**, the attention towards rehabilitation of visually impaired persons is pathetic. There is no such institute in **Agra** at present which is working towards settlement of visually challenged.* * * *The Radha swami institute for the visually handicapped proposed to impart training in computer, typing and stenography and making of disposable plates & bowls to the visually impaired persons so that they may be gainfully employed in the respective fields with the objective to rehabilitate the blind in the country in such a manner that they become independent and instead of remaining a burden for the state, start contributing to the development of the state. The training program will be residential that is the organization proposes to provide hostel facilities to the trainees.
