Hi, for writing Hindi or any other Indian language, I recommend baraha. Please visit www.baraha.com and download the software, and to write Unicode Hindi using the English keyboard, please use barahapad. Go to barahapad and press alt+l to go to the language menu, and selecct hindi. Now you can just type Hindi like English!
