looking at stories of discrimination in Education, Employment and other
spheres faced by Persons with disabilities. I am sure many of you have lived

Here are the details abut the Programme:
Reliance Big Synergy, one of India's biggest production houses is presently
working on a show for Star Plus which will be hosted by one of India's
biggest superstars. This is a 16 episode show on social issues that effect
every Indian in one way or another and prevent India from becoming even more
prosperous and registering an even higher rate of growth.
Their objective is to sensitise people through this show and make them more
aware about these issues so that they can contribute in their own way
towards making the society conscious about the ills that plague us.
One of the episodes is on *"People with Disabilities in an Insensitive
Society"* and we are looking for people who have faced discrimination in
education, employment and other spheres of life. They should be comfortable
with discussing about their difficulties on national television.
*Format of the Show*: Each episode will be divided into seperate sections.
For instance, the episode on disability will have sections like attitude of
the society, education, employment, government's role and stand, culture and
arts, acheivements etc. The anchor will introduce the show and then stories
relating to various aspects of the issue will be shown. Some of these
individuals/ organisations will be called to the studio where the anchor
will interact with them along with the experts. The show will end with a
conclusion on where we stand as a society and what all needs to be done to
overcome our insenstivities.
