due to this surge in the number of books recently, i have been getting lots
and lots of query on how to become a bookshare member in india, and calls
are coming as late as midnight. i am giving here the detailed procedure of
becoming member.
the first thing you must do is to go online on bookshare.in or
bookshare.organd look for sign up link. on the first page look for the
radio box which
says "I (the individual with qualifying disability) am 18 years old or
older" if you are more than 18 years old and press continue button.
in the next page you have to fill the form which starts wiith your first
name. please dont select any state and there is no promo code. after filling
up the form press continue button and you will be directed to the last page
where there are terms and conditions of your membership. read it and then
look for yes radio button check it and press continue button. now you are
done with your basic requirement.
you will now get a welcome mail from bookshare and a link there would ask
you to reset your password. click on this link and you will be directed to a
page where you have to set your password.
Now as final step you have to send me your disability certificate and
deposit 400 rupees to SAKSHAM account if you are in north part of country.
if you are residing in west part of the country then send the money and
certificate to xrcvc and for south india send it to worth trust.
after we receive your certificate and membership fee it will take a maximum
of three working days to get your membership activated.
