With regards to your LIC query, I spoke to my LIC agent, pasting below his
feedback, kindly reply back, so that can suggest you properly.
Further after 2006, LIC cannot charge any Blindness extra premium. Its
official announced by LIC. Neither can deny us for covering under any
policy.
Hence if any of us are taking any new policy, please do take care & don't
give any extra premium just because we are blind.
If you want the document proof for the same then do let me know will make
the same available for download.
As my LIC agent have made sure that I am not paying any extra charges for
any of the policies taken there after.

I will need following details before I enquire
1. Date of Birth
2. Medical Ground and reason for Visually Impaired since birth or due to any
adverse medical history 3. Current Profession / Occupation 4. Current Income
from gainful employment 5. No. of Dependents on Him (details of all family
members with occupation) 6. Exsiting insurance policy
Once I will get the above details I will be able to answer your query

Hi Muhammad,
I disclosed my visual impairment and I am paying extra premium for
"Endowment" policy of the l. i. c. I am totally sightless so my disability
is apparent so there was no question of not disclosing the same. I think we
must never hide our disability or impairment whatever it may be. Don't know
about other companies but L. I. C. does not deny the service on the ground
of visual impairment or other disabilities but charges extra premium which
is quite reasonable.
