I am also searching for a talking land phone. I bought the one
supplied by Sakshum. The price of which was around Rs. 800. The phone
will announce the numbers which we dial and the number of the incoming
call. The maindrawback of the phone is that the menu options and
contacts are really inaccessible to the visually challenged persons.
It will not speak the name and other options.
While googling for an accessible telephone I found one which seems

I have no personal experience with this phone. All the details
mentioned above are copied from their web site. I don’t know whether
some one in our country is using it or not. If somebody is using it or
having any more information please be kind enough to share it over the
list. If If it can work well with our system, it will be very much
useful to the visually challenged people, especially those who are
working with phone
