Make sure that, dropbox is working properly.
For this, you can through the terminal, use this command: dropbox status.
If dropbox is working, then, you will hear idle.
Otherwise, try this.
Through the terminal, type, pkill dropbox.
then type dropbox start.
Oh! forgot. must press enter after you type the command.
