Dear All,
AICB is  happy to announce that the 7th intensive training course for
VI women will be held, as in the previous years, at the Delhi Premises
of the Confederation w.e.f. 16th May, to 30th June, 2012. Upto 30
ladies in the age range of 18 to 35 years are eligible to apply for
admission to the course.  Preference will be given to ladies having
graduation as the educational qualification.  They should be
proficient in speaking and understanding Hindi and English and be in
good health.  No leave of absence is permissible during the course.
Interested and eligible candidates may apply on the prescribed form
which can be downloaded by clicking the below link:

The duly completed application forms along with a registration fee of
Rs.500 by way of bank draft or
money order in the name of All India Confederation of the Blind should
reach the Confederation's office latest by 31st March.  Please note
that the registration fee will be returned to the candidates
completing the training course.  Selected candidates will be informed
by 15th April.

Selected candidates will be provided the following facilities:
a.  pocket allowance of Rs.1200 per head.
b.  Second class return Rail fare at concessional rates.
c. Free board and lodging.

The candidates will be provided special practical training during the
course in such areas as mobility, self-defence skills, home
management, basic stitching, computer use etc.  They will also receive
theoretical instructions in various facets of leadership training and
issues of specific interest to women. Hence,
We  request you to disseminate this information to interested blind
women, so that they could be benefited from the proposed training
programme.
