Hi Divyanshu,
If you have ovi maps 3.03/3.04 in E5, then the following should work, not sure
for other versions but guess the logic should be the same.

If you are at a place which you want to save, do one of the following:
1. Go to GPS data - Positioning. If Talks/Mobile Speak says the co-ordinates of
the place, that means you are connected to the satellite. Here go to options,
in save position, and key in the name of the place and do ok.
2. While in maps, you know your GPS receiver is connected to the satellite, go
in My Position, and press the centre button and go in save place. Key in the
name and do OK.
3. When in drive mode in maps, you want to save a place that you have reached
on the way, press number 2 and it asks you the name of the place.

You can also save a place which you found using the find place/search feature
in maps by pressing the centre button and hitting enter on the save place item.

If you know the langitude & longitude of a place, you can also save it by going
in the Landmarks in menu, go in options, and go in enter new landmark -
manually.

best,

Pranay.
