Dear friends, The Technical Training Institute, pune with kind support of the City Pride Group; screened for the 1st time in Maharashtra an Audio Described Movie in a Multiplex. The Audio Described version of the movie “Munnabhai MBBS” was screened in hall 3 of the City Pride Multiplex at Satara road in Pune, yesterday at 10.30 AM. This historic show was attended by more than 170 Visually Challenged friends from all across Pune. It was a completely new experience for most of the viewers, who were thrilled to bits on hearing the Audio Described version for the 1st time in their lives. TTI is planning to lobby the film producers from now on to encourage them to make more and more films Accessible for the Visually Challenged Population of this country. The owners of the City Pride Group, Mr. Chaphalkar has extended his support for screening of more such movies in the future and we are extremely humbled by this gesture and are grateful to the Chaphalkar family for taking personal interest in the whole show. TTI is extremely grateful to Saksham New Delhi, for their invaluable support during this event.
