the roster is like an identification of seats to be given to the
reserved catagories on 100 point scale. Say for e.g. in a 100 point
scale register usuall they earmark first, 34th and 67th seats for
physically handicapped persons, while they may put like 44th seat for
women SC or ST. There is no standard practice to maintain this roster
register through out India but some of the courts have directed the
government to maintain 100 point scale roster in order to ensure
proper reservation, like Delhi High court in Sambhavana v University
of Delhi 2007 ordered the university to maintain such register.
Therefore u can ask from your state's government through an RTI
application, if such register has been maintained by the government.
