Hello All There is an easy to use registry entry which will enable / disable audio in safe mode.
Download the file: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/21735685/activate%20audio%20in%20safe%20mode.zip Open the appropriate file inside the zipped file. This will also make speech coming from the screen reader which otherwise is disabled in safe mode. May I clarify, this is not the tip to get into safe mode, rather a help when you inadvertently land in it.
