hey it time consuming. even though if you have specified wrong incoming
server it tries to connect and indeed you need to input the error here.
just do the following if you want to give a try: under incoming server field
just type pop/imap.host.com and you won't be receiving the email, only you
can send.

I have noticed that Outlook goes slow when there is a large number of
emails in the inbox. Archiving the inbox and any other folders may
help. The Archive option can be located in the File menu. Or you may
apply Auto-Archive settings in the Options dialog box (Tools menu >
