Subject: [AI] definition of blindness
Dear friends good afternoon to all of you.
According to sub section B of section 2 of PWD act 1995.
(b) "Blindness" refers to a condition where a person suffers from any of
the following conditions, namely:-
(1) Total absence of sight: or
(2) Visual acuity not exceeding 6/60 or 20/200 (snellen) in the better eye
with correcting lenses: or
(3) Limitation of the field of vision subtending an angle of 20 degree or
worse:
in the above definition I am clearly understood the point No 1. but I
could not understand how much percentage of blindness for point 2 & how
much percentage of blindness for point 3? could anybody clear my doubt.
