Subject: [AI] deception by MTS India.

Hi listers.
I would like to get a legal perspective on an issue regarding MTS India.
I had bought MTS MBlaze connection from Delhi, considering the system
had pretty good connectivity at my native place in Kerala to where I
regularly travel. Till March this year, MTS, continuing their usual
style, provided sound service at my place. But since March end this
year, they have shut down their tower at my place, saying they don't
have many customers here. There are a few users of their mobile as
well as MBlaze here, and when they contacted the customer care, there
was no positive response from their side regarding reopening the
closed tower.
I would like know what can we do legaly to counter this cheating by
MTS? People had taken their connection thinking there is connectivity
which was the case earlier, but now they are depriving people without
any reason. Is it a fit enough case to approach the consumer forum?
What other agency could one approach in this regard? There is no
meaningful response from the MTS customercare as yet.
I don't think there is a technical solution to the issue, but what are
the legal options to ensure the continuity of a technical service that
was earlier available to customers who payed for the same?
Thanks in advance,
