some times date or time settings are disterbed. So check them as well.
And in most of the phones there is an option like arange messages by
name date or something like that. Araingeby date must be checked if it
is not set then modify it to show messages by date. It will surely
work.

Lets try to make this more understandable.
Suppose someone sends me an SMS, i'll get the beep suggesting that a
new message has been received. But in fact, my inbox does not show any
new message of which the beep that I recently heard. I thought this is
happening may be because of memory shortage. And I dilited 4000
messages in few seconds to get rid of this probl.
Pleas do help me if anyone of you can.
