if I press insert z, JAWS is saying use virtual pc cursor off and
again if I press insert z, JAWS is saying use virtual PC cursor on.
but, my problem is not solved folks.
one more thing which i observed is if I press alt d and type any
address, JAWS is reading alt d but, not reading the address which I
typed.
so, I think the problem is in the whole web page and not only in gmail.

I think it is because, your virtual pc curser is off. in this case your
shortcut keys will not work or you will not get any links by arrow keys.
just press insert+z to turn your virtual curser on. hope it will work.

I got a problem in gmail.
whenever I open my gmail, JAWS is saying gmail-inbox press tab.
arrow keys are not working.
I am using tab to bring the cursor to the inbox or to the compose
button.
suppose, if I want to send messages, I am pressing tab to bring the
cursor to the compose mail. even short cut keys like alt c is not
working.
after sending the messages, again I am using tab to bring the cursor
to the inbox.
it is not normal like before. it is giving more trouble.
so, folks please help me to solve this issue.
