Pardeep was born on 20.07.1969 with the help of a Caesarean Operation. In those days, this type of surgery was rarely done & perhaps in the surgery only that his hearing nerves/cells were damaged, causing complete hearing loss. Alternatively Measles/Typhoid Fever, from which he suffered twice, might have caused this Deafness. With the grace of God Almighty and due to his parents' eternal help/guidance, he could win over all the problems whatsoever came in his life and has reached to such a height where he is at present, as stated above. Un-dithered by his deafness, avoiding/non-helping attitude of his class fellows & colleagues, he did not lose his heart, pursued his studies up to the maximum as a Professional & also as a Banker & reached the zenith of his career so far. For him, still sky is the limit as he is motivated & encouraged to read the success-stories of handicapped/non-handicapped eminent educationists, cine-stars, scientists, writers, philanthropists and many business tycoons. By his hard work, dedication & devotion, he has not only acquired theoretical knowledge for himself but has also been imparting the same to others & his children specially who are well versed in Information Technology right from their childhood.They get inspiration from their father and are excelling more and more. His son Lakshay Mundeja has passed out his Matriculation (CBSE) with 9.6 Grades, a rare distinction. His daughter Chesta Mundeja, aged 14 years is a shining Roller Skater(Sportsperson) with many medals, Gold, Silver, Bronze duly won at the State and National Level Competitions alongwith cash awards aggregating around Rs.75000/- so far. Recently her name for the Child Award to be conferred by Prime Minister, Govt. of India, on 14.11.2011 has been recommended by the Haryana Govt., a rare distinction at the State Level on the part of his daughter. A clipping of story published in the Tribune dated 14.9.10 & a few more are of interest. His younger son Kartik, studying in 4th Class, is also following foot-print of his sister & has recently won Gold Medal in CBSE North Zone Skating Competition, thus making his maiden entry for CBSE National Competition, to be held in November,2011. It looks that Pardeep has turned nightmare into soothing reality, turned the impossible to possible by the dent of his hardwork, devotion & sincerity keeping aside all the difficulties whatsoever came in the way. Being an National Award Winner Bank Executive Sri Pardeep describes on his own as below : Myself 100% Deaf since the age of 7 years. Acquired Educational/Professional Qualifications of B.COM, MA(HINDI), JAIIB, CAIIB, PG DIPLOMA IN TRANSLATION, DIPLOMA IN JOURNALISM, PG DIPLOMA IN COMPUTER APPLICATIONS(PGDCA), NCFM(DEPOSITORY), AMFI(ADVISOR). Joined ENBI as C/Typist in 1988. Now Sr.Manager in PNB, Retail Assets Branch Karnal dealing with retail loans viz Education, Car & Housing Loans. Now I have three desires. First to sit on the hot seat of KBC in front of Shri Amitabh Bachhan and to prove myself by winning handsome prize(hope someone can help me to fulfill my desire), Second to join any local reputed Club for rendering my services for social sector and Third is to do MCA (I have already done PGDCA but could not take courage to do further mostly due to busy banker schedule and lack of assurance about proper guidance/support in the matter).
