If you like to select non-adjacent cells / rows / columns, make your first
selection and then press shift + f8, after that move to the cells you want
to include in your selection and then use the appropriate selection keys.
For example, let's say I have already selected column A by pressing control
+ space and I want to select column M and then column T and column AE.
Having already selected the column A, I press shift + f8 to turn on the add
selected range mode, after that using either the arrow keys or the go to
reference option I move to m1, and then press control space, then move to t1
and press control space again, then move to AE 1 and press control + space.

Go to cell c1 and then press shift key, press right arrow key twice till the
cursor come in e1. Press ctrl + space bar which will select columns from c,
d, e at a time. done!
