It ideally should. But why not type N/A instead of a - ? is it because you
do not want to type two extra characters?

Subject: [AI] Type dash in excel cell

Hello friends,
I have a column in excel database namely 'email'. Some of the teachers don't
have a email id so I want to type dash instead of leaving the cell blank.
But excel didn't accept the dash sign in cell. Any solution to type dash
sign in cell?

Regards
