Open contact, press options and select mark all option from mark/unmark submenu, press options again and select from phone to memory card option from back up submenu. Now a dialogue will appear saying "remove existing contact from memory card?" select yes to avoid duplication of entry in the memory card. Now copying will start. Wait till all the contact are copied. Time taken is around 1 second for about 10 contact. You can check progress by using "talks+select."
