Dear Ekinath

Let me first make a disclaimer, that the solution does not meet your
requirements. However, there are 2 interesting things you can do to get some
understanding of how major towns / cities are placed.
1 If you take any world clocks, they put major towns / cities in a longitude
group. Those towns shall have the same time. With the time off set you can
again get an idea the distance in relation to GMT, i.e. greenwitch at UK.
2. If you use maps.google.com and give 2 places, it will give you driving
direction, here you can get to know of places and distances enroot.

Harish.

Subject: Re: [AI] I need an accessible Indian Map

Hi

I have always been interested in geography. It's interesting to know
how countries of the world are placed on our planet.

Thankfully, I remember my school maps when I could see, but not sure
if point to point audio description gives an over all picture.

Even tactile maps if on the flat surface, does not offer proper
understanding of placements of various countries on the round planet.

Therefore, kindly refer any ball like globe with Braille designations
to understand world better for Vis who haven't seen it before.

Thanks and regards
