Hi Ishika, the website clearly mentions, there is a category (heading) of introductions, click the link, then on the next page click on new topic link to post your introduction.
Its like forum structure actually. Guess the website is still under development, as it seems to be very new, and not all features are roled out. Let me know if you need more help on that. As far as sending private message is concerned, you go to private message link, then on the next page you click on send private message, and on the next page, you choose the recipient's name from the combo box, type your subject, message and click send.
