Folks,
This is something which is to be fought on a much larger platform.
The SBI people have made it mandatory to use the image based keyboard not
only to create a new profile password, but also for those who wish to change
their profile password, which is really absolutely obnoxious on the part of
the SBI management!
Today they've made it mandatory to change the profile password, tomorrow
they'll introduce the same to enter the profile password at any place, and,
later, they'll make it compulsory to enter even the login password in image
form, which would eventually make the entire SBI net banking inaccessible.
I suppose the latest step of SBI in this regard should be opposed
vigorously!
Shame shame SBI!!!

Subject: [AI] quiry with regard to profile password in SBI net banking

Hello learned friends,
I got a net banking kit from my SBI branch two days ago.
Today, I have loged in to my account and change my user name and password
without any dificulty. But i could not set my profile password as i was
prompted to use M I B V K (Multy Lingual Image Based Vertual Keyboard) key
board which is not accessable with Jaws. There is no other option but to M
I B V K keyboard.
Please advice me what to do.
Thanks in anticipation
                Padmanabham.
