Dear All, One of my friends was appointed as a Probationary Clerk in the Syndicate Bank in the post reserved for Other Backward Classes (OBC) candidates. In fact, being a Muslim, he belongs to either OC or BC-E in Andhra Pradesh. Due to the state government's reservation policy for Muslims, the community was placed under BC-E category. So, my friend, out of confusion, marked the OBC column while applying for IBPS CWE. He had communicated the same at the time of his interview. In this connection, I'd like to know whether any group of Muslims come under the OBC list. Also, I request you kindly to guide on how to protect his job.
