Dear sir, You can request the bank to make your account jointly payable either or survivor account.. For this, you have to go to the bank personally alongwith a person with whom you want to make it joint alongwith ANY OF his photo identity viz. aadhar card, PAN card, Passport andadress proofand a letter requesting the bank to make it into E OR S account attesting his signature. After completing this formality the bank at its discretion may convert into joint account payable to E OR S thereby the liability lies with both of you jointly or severally.
