You can use Audacity software. It is accessible with JAWS so no scripts are required. You can start recording by pressing the R key and stop the recording by pressing the S key. To pores / un-pores the recording, press the P key. And to play / stop the recorded file, use the SPACEBAR key. It is an open source application.
